1. Two plate mold (2 PLATE MOLD)

The two-platen mold, also known as the single parting surface mold, is the simplest type of injection mold. It divides the entire mold into two parts with the parting surface as the boundary:

Moving mold and fixed mold. Part of the cavity is in the moving mold; part of the cavity is in the fixed mold. The main runner is in the fixed mold; the runner is opened on the parting surface. Open

After the mold, the product and the runner remain in the movable mold, and the movable mold part is equipped with an ejection system. (Figure 1.1)
